So after a couple weeks in cloud mining my IMMEDIATE advice would be: DON’T GO THERE!

It is nothing more than a fancy, multi currency and international PONZI SCHEME.
    Take hashflare.io for example.

    1. ETH Mining is a limited 1 Year contract. BTC can stop when ever they deem it ‘unprofitable’.
    2. No independant and concrete evidence exist of the…[Read more]

    • Thanks for sharing. My gut feel its that its a ponzi. 15-20% returns per month (consistently) are too good to be true, or at least, to good to be sustainable. If its a ponzi, it will all come crashing down when either prices collapse (which could happen any time) or when new buyers stop stepping in paying the old hands. If things are still ticking…[Read more]

I see the currencies has recovered after yesterdays hack of coindash.io.

What I have also noticed and explored is the cloud mining of these coins. I would strongly suggest you do thorough research as I can now see that I want get any capital invested back – only mining of coins. To me this is screaming Ponzi schemes….

    Thats really interesting @johan
Brad is using a third party to mine, so he doesn’t need the setup, but I have always wondered what gives better margin. Guess it also depends on what you pay for electricity. In our part of the world, its still relatively cheap.

As a trader, I still feel like the only way I would get involved is mining. ETH…[Read more]

The bubble question gets a hugely emotional response.
Bubbles are when price >>>>>> any real value.
Right now the Australian housing situation is a very REAL bubble. Of course, if you ask homeowners who are buying up whatever they can, they think its fair value. Its not. Its a bubble and its starting to burst. Aussie banks just got downgraded…[Read more]

I have actually been keeping an eye and there is a big decline in Ethereum as well. If it breaks down 250 it could well race back to 100..

Then the other question is – since everyone is calling this a ‘bubble’ – is this really a bubble? Is bubbles not unexpected? eth

If I traded BTC, I would be looking at buying it this week. I don’t, so I won’t be.

Brad mines the stuff. We’ll get him to do a webinar if there is enough interest!

    • Wow is it still lucrative to mine bitcoins? From what I heard the equipment requirements is so extreme that the returns are not possible anymore?

      • I think its a gamble – because it comes down to future price of Bitcoin and that we just don’t know. I’ve seen some commentators call $1,000,000 price in BTC. Not a view I support, but a BTC trading at 10x current price in a few years I can imagine. At those prices, yes, mining does make sense
